Dawn of a new era?

With Microsoft unveiling their new motion controller device with a working name of Project Natal, and Sony's new motion controller hitting the market in the upcoming years is there a new age of gaming upon us?

Has Nintendo really influenced the gaming market, and generation that the standard controller is that scary and we should all get off our butts and move around a bit when we play our favourite games? Well it seems so. Microsoft and Sony has revealed their new motion controllers to the world a couple of days ago at E3 and we think that this "fad" of motion control everyone use talk about is actually becoming a standard in today's gaming.

With all three platforms having some sort of motion controller coming up in the midst it makes us question the gaming industry and where its heading? Are we going to lose our standard controllers? Are we going to lose the "hardcore" titles we know and love? Is there a dawn of a new era upon us?
